COMMUNITY Community, as defined by Wikipedia: In biological terms, a community is a group of interacting organisms sharing an environment. In human communities, intent, belief, resources, preferences, needs, risks, and a number of other conditions may be present and common, affecting the identity of the participants and their degree of cohesiveness. What these various meanings have in common is that they refer to the strength of the ties between the group, of whatever nature—cultural, ethnic, or moral—they may be. At Imogene's Organic Hair, we believe that the strength of our "community" is defined by individuals who choose to participate and give of their time and resources. We know that each of us at some point in our lives will need the strength of our families and community to lift us up during difficult times and we trust in the goodness and decency of those around us. We believe everyone has a unique gift, talent or resource to offer the community and we humbly offer our time and talents to those in need. Our community needs us and we need our community.
